MacBook Air on its Optimum Performance
I bought this Mac Air 13.3-inch laptop, 256 GB version from Apple and I had it for almost a year. Since I traveled a lot and always carry it with me (13.3 inch MBA fits on my Cenzo leather bag), it allows me to lighten my pack by seven pounds (compared to my previous laptop), without compromising its functionality and power.
One of my favorite hobbies is photography and with a feature of 4GB of RAM and 256 GB flashdrive, I could do some serious editing on my photos uploaded using Photoshop. Even drawing huge photos, video card is kind of responsive and flash d rive is remarkably fast.
What I think really stands out amongst its remarkable features is the optimum performance gained from the SSD (Solid-state-drive) instead of spinning magnetic hard drive. Up from cold, it boots up to ready in ten seconds and it shuts down in about 4-5 seconds. Shutting off the lid and it goes to sleep in one second and the same rate if you’re going to wake it up.
Life of battery with the average of 6-7 hours is very good while running an application to upload photos from my Canon EOS DSLR camera. This kind of feature comes from SSD as well because in SSD there is no spinning disk or motor. Therefore battery life is longer compared to traditional hard disk drives that uses a lot of energy therefore battery consumption is much faster.
After using Mac Book air for a couple of hours each day, the temperature on its bottom was slightly a bit warmer compared to my previous laptops that got so hot it really feels uncomfortable on my lap.
What really appeals to most of us, consumers, is the very light weight of 1.3 kg and yet a full-feature computer that has its ability to meet my demands.
